The Indian captain Virat Kohli took a stunning catch to dismiss the West Indies batsman Shimron Hetmyer. The southpaw played a flat shot and timed it to perfection but Kohli was quick to move to his right. Kohli made good ground and then dived to his right to take a blinder of a catch. Furthermore, the talisman made sure that he didn’t touch the boundary ropes after taking the superb catch.
In fact, the catch was made possible by Virat Kohli as he is one of the fittest players in the world. Kohli was quick to move to his right and took a fine catch. However, apart from that catch, India’s fielding was once again below par.
It was a superman catch from Kohli.
India’s rookie player Washington Sundar once again fluffed an easy catch and the ground fielding was also not up to the mark. Rishabh Pant also could not hang on to a difficult catch after his elbow hit the ground and thus the ball popped out.
Virat Kohli said in the post-match presentation, “It was one of those catches that just stuck. Committed to the ball, stretched both hands – the last match I went with just one hand”.

Meanwhile, West Indies cruised to a convincing win as they defeated India by eight wickets. The visitors’ batsman Lendl Simmons scored a fine knock of 45-ball 67 with the help of four fours and as many sixes to help his team chase down the target with nine balls to spare.
Simmons also got support from his opening partner, Evin Lewis who scored a fine knock of 40 runs from 35 balls. The left-hander once again looked good and gave a good foundation to the West Indies’ innings. Shimron Hetmyer scored 23 runs whereas Nicholas Pooran added the finishing touches with 18-ball 38 with the help of four fours and two sixes.
