Indian wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha dropped an easy catch of Dinesh Chandimal and allowed him to score a fifty, that boosted up the Sri Lankan total. Ishant Sharma, who bowled well throughout the Sri Lankan innings kept the ball in a tight line around the off stump and extracted a huge amount of bounce and carry. Right after the lunch when Sri Lanka was reeling on 66-5 and Chandimal was batting on 5, Ishant managed to find the edge of his bat and the ball carried to Saha at a decent height but was eventually put down by the Indian gloveman. It was a regulation catch for a wicket-keeper. Saha later went on to score 59 and Sri Lanka managed to score 183.
