Rajiv Shukla, the manager of Indian Cricket team in 2002 Natwest Series in England , today revealed that Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman refused to take off their Shirt ,after India won in the finals. Sourav Ganguly did take off his shirt and it is now a historical chapter, both in Indian cricket and the history of Lords.
Sourav Ganguly took his revenge against Andrew Flintoff, who showed his T-Shirt to Sourav Ganguly after England clinched the series at Mumbai and Flintoff took the last wicket. Rajiv Shukla was speaking at the Cricket Conclave and added that Sourav Ganguly wanted the whole team to take off the T-Shirt and wave it but the trio politely refused to do so. While all this happened, Rajiv Shukla was along with Sourav Ganguly at the famous Lord’s balcony.
