Yuvraj Singh, Chris Gayle and other cricketers congratulate Portugal after their Euro cup triumph

Cricketers around the globe took to social media to congratulate Portugal after their famous 1-0 win over France in the Euro Cup final to win the European Championship for the first time in its history and all this without superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Portugal were in big trouble when Cristiano Ronaldo was stretchered off injured.
French player Dimitri Payet’s heavy challenge floored the Real Madrid in the first quarter of the game. After getting the treatment he returned on the pitch with his left leg bandaged only to be stretchered off with tears in his eyes. The scene brought back the memories of 2004 Euro final, when a young Ronaldo could not stop crying after losing to Greece.
Leaving the setback behind, Portugal regrouped and thanks to some heroic goalkeeping from Rui Patricio took the game into extra time before Eder struck with 11 minutes to go.
