The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) registered a historic victory in the All India Election Results which was declared today. Not a single party was even close to BJP as they won more than 63 per cent of the vote. There is no denying the fact that Narendra Modi has done a good job for India over the past few years.
Many people have criticized him for the mass Muslim killing more than a decade ago, the Prime Minister has kept silent on the issue. However, after the victory, it proves that he has managed to win the faith of the majority of the Indians.
It is indeed a special victory because no one expected Modi to win by such a huge margin. In West Bengal, the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee vouched to bag all 42 seats. However, BJP gave them a valiant fight and bagged 18 spots which were a sheer surprise.
One of the most special players to have played for India, Yuvraj Singh took to his Twitter handle and congratulated Narendra Modi on a historic victory. “Heartiest congratulations to our Hon Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji on his historic victory,” Yuvraj Singh wrote on his twitter handle.

President of BJP, Amit Shah stated that it has been the good work of Modi which has been essential in them winning the elections by such a huge margin. Arunachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, MP, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Bihar, UP and many more states have given us more than 50% votes,” Amit Shah said.
“In the last five years, Narendra Modi government has worked for the betterment for the poor of the country, their blessings have helped us win. I thank the people of the country, this victory is theirs, this victory is of the workers of BJP,” he further added.
Coming back to Yuvraj Singh, he is currently contemplating to retire from international cricket. Unless he is retired from international cricket, he won’t get permission from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to play different T20 Leagues all across the globe. He was one of the most stylish players during his heydays but he is certainly in the twilight of his career. It will be interesting to see when actually Yuvraj Singh calls it quits.
