New Zealand completed a 5-0 whitewash of touring Pakistan as they won the fifth ODI by 15 runs at the Basin Reserve in Wellington. New Zealand won the toss and chose to bat first. New Zealand’s opener Martin Guptill scored his 13th ODI century to help his team propel to reach a safe score of 271/7 in their 50 overs. Ross Taylor also played a handy knock of 59 runs in the middle order. Rumman Raees was the pick of the bowlers for Pakistan as he picked up three wickets. In reply, Pakistan was bowled out for 256 in 49 overs. Haris Sohail was the top scorer with 63 runs while Shadab Khan also scored a half-century. Matt Henry picked up four wickets, and spinner Mitchell Santner finished with three wickets. Martin Guptill was adjudged the man of the match as well as the man of the series.

India vs Zimbabwe

India defeated Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in the third and final group stage match. India bowled out Zimbabwe for a mere 155 in the first innings and then chased down the target in 21.4 overs to qualify for the knockout round.
