FIFA World Cup 2022 South Korea vs Ghana: Where To Watch, Live Streaming, Date, Timing, Squad, Lineups, Venue:

South Korea are still waiting to score their first goal at this 2022 FIFA World Cup, as they take on Ghana in the matchday 2 of the Group H. The Asian side put a good effort in their opener against a neat Uruguay side, only to come away with a point from the goalless draw. However, there was lot to talk about the display from Korea who now have lost on only one occasion in their last 10 games after they avoided a defeat against the South Americans.

But that won’t be enough for the Tiges of Asia as they bid to make it to the knockouts of the competition for the first time since 2010. And they are yet to face a Portugal side led by Cristiano Ronaldo, after the Ghana game. Albeit their astute defensive showing, South Korea on the other hand failed to register a shot on target at Uruguay’s goal and the woodwork had to bail them out twice, after Federico Valverde and Diego Godin saw their efforts crash on to the frame of the goal.

Ghana are a bunch of raging bulls at the moment, after they were evidently robbed off a point in their opener against Portugal. The African side saw a soft penalty given against them which was won by, of course, none other than Cristiano Ronaldo. Andre Ayew did pull Ghana back on level before coming-off for Jordan Ayew, but as the cameras showed, even before the captain could settle on the bench Portugal retook the lead through Joao Felix.

The Black Stars have all the work left to do in the remaining two games, starting from this South Korea clash if they are to extend their stay at a tournament which they are gracing after missing the previous edition in Russia. Only a victory at the Education City Stadium against South Korea would ensure their hopes of making it to the knockouts are kept intact. And Otto Addo’s men are well capable of causing an upset, as they displayed their fighting spirit against Portugal in the 3-2 defeat, with Inaki Williams almost scoring an equalizer in the final minutes.
