Italian giants, AC Milan are looking to seal a deal for Chelsea’s talented winger Juan Cuadrado as they look for talks next week, according to Evening Standard.
The 28-year old who have moved to Stamford Bridge in January 2015 had a below par second half with the Blues and was sent on loan to Juventus last season. He has been good with the Serie A giants in a league where he had excelled in the past.
However, there is a lot of skepticism over his ability to hit his form in Premier League. But the new manager Conte is happy with the player’s recent outing in pre-season friendly against Real Madrid where the Blues lost 3-2.
AC Milan are looking to meet Chelsea next week in London to negotiate a one-year loan deal with a payment of £8.5 million upfront, and a £15 million fee to make it permanent next summer.
With Chelsea’s manager Conte having so many options on the right wing as the likes of Willian, Cuadrado, Pedro, and Victor Moses all capable of playing the role, he might be tempted to let the player leave on loan yet again which could largely benefit AC Milan.
Despite the rumors, Juan Cuadrado’s future at Stamford Bridge still remains unresolved even after 18 months since joining the Blues.
