Manchester United have managed to win the race for another key Chelsea target Tiemoue Bakayoko after agreeing transfer fee with Monaco, according to reports.

The 22-year old was considered as a top priority for Antonio Conte since the start of summer but the interest from Red Devils have once again put Chelsea in a spot of bother in an already frustrating window.

The Blues have already lost to Manchester United in their pursuit to sign Romelu Lukaku as the Red Devils agreed on a fee with Everton on Friday. Chelsea have matched the bid made by Manchester United on Friday night but the Belgian has preferred a move to Old Trafford over Stamford Bridge.

The Red Devils are once again set to sign the French midfielder, who was tipped to undergo a medical at Stamford Bridge few days ago. According to Daily Express, Manchester United have agreed a £35million deal to beat Chelsea to sign the 22-year old midfielder.

Bakayoko was one of the key midfielders for Monaco in their title triumph last season and is one of the most sought after footballers in the ongoing transfer window.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly turned his sights to complete the signing of Bakayoko at the earliest and if Manchester United manage to get the Frenchman then Conte would be visibly frustrated over the transfer activity this summer.

The Italian manager had already expressed his dissatisfaction with the club after missing out Lukaku and had not committed his future to the club despite a new deal being offered after the title triumph last season.

Chelsea had so far managed to sign only Roma defender Antonio Rudiger in a £34m deal. The German defender had signed a five year deal with the club after successfully passing the medical on Sunday and will wear No.2 jersey next season.

The Germany international said: “It’s a great feeling because not every player has the opportunity to join a huge club like this.

“I am looking forward to meeting up with my new team-mates and I’m very proud to officially become a Chelsea player.”

Chelsea are hopeful to make more quality signings going into the market as they are looking at a similar frustration that they endured last summer.
