Antonio Conte Reveals His Family Moving To London Next Season

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has revealed that his family will be moving to London for the upcoming season. The news can be considered as a huge boost for Chelsea fans as there has been increasing speculations of him leaving Stamford Bridge.

It is the biggest indication that the Italian would be staying at Chelsea for the upcoming season. He has admitted that it was difficult for him to stay away from family during his debut season with the club.

This has led to the Italian media linking him with a move back to Italy in the recent weeks as AC Milan, Inter Milan are considered favorites to land him next season. But the latest statement has ensured that Conte will be leading Chelsea for at least one more season.

‘Honestly, for sure this season wasn’t easy for me about my family because we decided, my wife and my daughter, they would stay in Italy to allow my daughter to finish school,’ Conte said.

‘But, for sure, next season our intention is to keep all the family in England and stay together.

‘It will be a good opportunity, also, for my daughter to live in another country. To go to school in another country is a fantastic opportunity, and a great gift for her.

‘We chose the school also last season, an Italian school, and this is the last problem. In England, and above all in London, there are wonderful schools for the kids.’

Antonio Conte had a near perfect start to his life at Chelsea as the 47-year old has helped Blues to win Premier League in his debut season. The club are also currently eyeing a domestic double as they will play against their bitter rivals Arsenal in FA Cup final next week.

The manager was heavily criticized for his lack of results in the early weeks as he also failed to land his potential targets. However, Antonio Conte has completely changed the way Chelsea has played as he reverted their formation to 3-4-3 after an embarrassing loss to Arsenal in September.

The Blues will be considered favorites to lift the coveted FA Cup as Antonio Conte would join the elite list of managers who have managed to win league-cup double in his debut season. The manager will have more work in his hands as they will be playing against Europe’s elite clubs in Champions League.
