Manchester United have already prepared a stunning summer bid for highly-demanded Turkish starlet Oguzhan Ozyakup, according to Turkish media outlet Takvim.

But they have to face tough competition from Arsenal and Valencia as both clubs are also keen on the midfielder.

Interestingly the same report claims United have the edge now as they are ready to launch the bid later today.

23-year-old Ozyakup is rated as one of the best young talents in the Turkish League, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists last term as Besiktas lifted the Superlig title.

The impressive displays of Turkish international during the Euro 2016 tournament in France also received rave reviews, despite his country were eliminated from the Group stages.

And it has been revealed recently that, Man United and Arsenal are both targeting the 23-year-old and particularly the Red Devils are ready to meet the £17m asking price of Besiktas.

Oguzan Ozyakup spent four years at Arsenal’s youth academy, while Mourinho reportedly asked former Besiktas head coach Slaven Bilic for extra information about the 23-year-old.

The Gunners are keen on re-signing the 23-year-old this summer, four years after he left the club.

He made just two appearances in his first spell with Arsenal.
Arsenal are not exactly short of options in midfield at the moment after signing Granit Xhaka earlier in the summer and welcoming Santi Cazorla back from a long-term injury.

Still, Arsene Wenger may feel he needs more bodies in that area after losing Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini, and Tomas Rosicky at the end of last season.

However, the Premier League duo handed a transfer blow when La Liga club Valencia entered the race to sign him and were reportedly ready to launch an official offer for the central midfielder.

In his 4 years away from the Premier League, Ozyakup has gathered loads of experience and has also improved as a player and though he may not have proven himself in a giant club like Manchester United or Arsenal, he is a decent player with loads of potential that Mourinho or Wenger is ready to take a risk for.
