According to Telegraph, Crystal Palace are keen to sign Chelsea striker Loic Remy. The 29-year old have failed to pin down a place in the first team since his move to Chelsea from QPR in 2014.
The French international was used as an impact substitution by previous managers and his future looks uncertain at Stamford Bridge after the signing of Michy Batshuayi from Marseille this summer.
The signing meant Remy have fallen further down in the pecking order with Diego Costa and new signing Batshuayi ahead of him which could hamper his playing time in the on-going season.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have turned their sights to Remy after reportedly giving up their pursuit in signing Liverpool’s Christian Benteke.
The Reds are not interested in lessening the price they quoted despite Crystal Palace making an audacious £25m bid. Liverpool are looking for a massive £32.5m for the Belgian international.
Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew is willing to sign Loic Remy as the pair have previously worked together at Newcastle when the French striker have taken the limelight with his stellar performances before moving to Stamford Bridge.
According to the report from Telegraph, officials at Selhurst Park have been in touch with Chelsea counterparts regarding a deal.
