Manchester United are keen to sign Juventus starlet Grigoris Kastanos, according to reports in Italy.
The 18-year old is one of the highly rated young talents in Italy and Juventus are expecting big things from the player in the upcoming years as he is considered a future star at Turin.
Juventus have signed Kastanos from Enosis Neon Paralimni academy in 2014 for just £40,000 and the player have grown tremendously in the Juve academy as he became a vital part in Juventus’ youth squad.
Kastanos is an attacking midfielder who can also play on left wing which makes him a key asset for Juventus youth team. The player have scored a brace for Juventus in UEFA Youth league as he became a key player for the side.
He has 12 goals and four assists to his name in 46 appearances for the youth team and is touted to be the next big thing at Turin. The 18-year old has already made his international debut with Cyprus last year.
Manchester United have reportedly spotted him at the Viareggio youth tournament earlier this year and are keen to sign him, according to Tuttosport.
The young midfielder have also made a senior debut appearance in a pre-season friendly this year against South China.
Juventus are willing to offer a new deal to ward off any interest from other clubs on their whizkid. The Old Lady are keen to up his release clause to a massive £17million as they look to keep hold of him.
However, considering the financial might of Manchester United, they can still sign the midfielder if Jose Mourinho is willing to have him in his roster in the next season. However, it remains to be seen where the talented youngster will be cometh the next summer amid interest from Jose Mourinho and Manchester United.
