Chelsea takes on Arsenal in a crucial Premier League encounter on Saturday, 19th September.

The defending champions are currently struggling at the bottom half of the league table with just 4 points from the first five matches and are desperate to register full points to go up in the league table. They will accumulate some confidence after their win this week in the Champions League

Arsenal is currently in the fourth position in the league table with 10 points. The Gunners will be low on confidence as they lost to European minnows Dinamo Zagreb. They do not have any injury concerns except for Per Mertesacker.

Here is the predicted lineup of Chelsea against Arsenal for the much awaited and anticipated clash –

In defense, their can be few changes from their previous Premier League encounter. Due to the poor form of Branislav Ivanovic, Mourinho might bench the Serbian and Cesar Azpilicueta in the right full-back position. Gary Cahill can replace Kurt Zouma was bad against Everton. Baba Rahman would make his Premier League debut if Azpilicueta is sent to the right.

Pedro and Oscar are doubtful due to fitness concerns which might force Mourinho to field Ramires on the right with Fabregas in an advanced role. Impressive 19-year-old midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek will feature in the central midfield alongside Nemanja Matic.

We are also giving an alternate lineup for the clash for Chelsea:

In this alternate formation, we have kept an unchanged backline from what Jose Mourinho had fielded against Riverton last week. Mourinho might field Oscar who came back to the starting XI in the Champions League game. In that case, Fabregas will remain at the central midfield role and Loftus-Cheek would be benched.

Overall we expect an exciting game from the two bitter London rivals. As Jose Mourinho is facing Arsene Wenger, the viewers can expect to see some sparks fly in the game. A mouth-watering clash is on the card in the first match of the game week 6.
