Chelsea transfer roundup- Cuadrado update, Brozovic close and more

Chelsea have been trying to reconstruct under the new manager Antonio Conte after a forgettable season where they sacked their best manager ever, Jose Mourinho.

The Blues have looked active in the transfer window as they already managed to sign Batshuayi and Kante and are looking to add more players to their roster to become a dominant force yet again this season. The Blues would want to add a forward and central defender going into the last few days of the transfer window.

Here we look at all the transfer speculations and done deals around Chelsea today.

Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado has expressed his desire to leave to Juventus this summer as he is keen to force a deal, according to the reports in Italy.

With the deadline day looming, Cuadrado is keen to leave Stamford Bridge as he has no future at the club. The talented winger has not featured in any of the four games that Chelsea have played so far in the season.

Chelsea are set to rival Manchester United to sign Monaco defender Fabinho, according to French media outlet L’Equipe.

The 22-year old is one of the most linked targets of Manchester United this summer as Jose Mourinho is interested in bringing him to Old Trafford but Chelsea are keen to hijack the bid.

According to Gazello Dello Sport, Chelsea are ready to offer Cesc Fabregas in an attempt to sign Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan.

The talented Croatian midfielder is expected to leave San Siro this summer and the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus are also interested in signing him.

Liverpool firm favourite to sign Inter midfielder Brozovic.

Fiorentina sporting director Carlos Freitas has denied reports Chelsea have approached his side about a move for Marcos Alonso.

Reports suggested that the Blues were on the verge of signing Alonso as they look him as an alternative to Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and are ready to offer £21m to sign him.

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea striker Loic Remy is set to join Crystal Palace on a season-long deal.

The 29-year old have failed to pin down a place in the first team since his move to Chelsea from QPR in 2014. He is expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer with a number of clubs showing their interest in signing him.

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is key to add another striker to his squad going into the season as he set his sights on Loic Remy after signing Christian Benteke from Liverpool earlier this summer for a massive £32m.
