According to reports in Turkey, Liverpool have reached an agreement with Fenerbahce over a loan deal for Spanish winger Luis Alberto.
Alberto has signed to Liverpool back in 2013 for a reported fee of £6.8m from Sevilla but has failed to make an impact at Anfield. The 23-year old has made 12 appearances in his debut season for the Reds. After failing to impress, he was sent on loan to Spain for two consecutive years as he played for Malaga and Deportivo respectively in the last two seasons.
The 23-year old is speculated to move away from the club after Jurgen Klopp have brought in as many as seven new players into the squad in the current transfer window as the Spaniard is now considered surplus to the Reds’ requirements as they now look to send him away from Anfield before the transfer window closes next Wednesday.
The player had a decent loan spell with Spanish side Deportivo as he scored six goals and made seven assists in 29 La Liga appearances which has drawn attention from the Turkish giants.
Fenerbahce new manager Dick Advocaat who was appointed last week is keen to bring in an attacking midfielder as he is unconvinced of the current options available at the club and sees Luis Alberto as a potential target.
The likes of Benfica, Sevilla, Valencia and a few championship clubs have all expressed their interest in signing the Spaniard.
