Washington, Feb 23 (IANS) The Dallas Mavericks signed veteran forward David Lee on Monday after he was waived by Boston Celtics.

Lee was a two-time All-Star with New York Knicks in 2010 and the Golden States Warriors in 2013 respectively, Xinhua news agency reported.

Lee averaged 14.4 points and 9.2 rebounds in his 11-year career but the 32-year-old was down to 7.1 points with career lows of 4.3 rebounds per game with the Celtics. 

    The IANS was founded by Indian American publisher Gopal Raju as the India Abroad News Service. It was later renamed the Indo-Asian News Service.
