Antonio Conte has done a decent job with the players at his disposal in the previous season as he has managed to help Chelsea to their sixth league title with some consistent performances from the previous campaign.
The Blues were helped by their star striker Diego Costa, who lifted his second league title in three years but Conte did not seem too impressed with the Spaniard in the middle of the previous season.
The duo had a falling out, which looked like it was resolved, but the Italian manager has already asked Costa to leave the club this summer and the former Atletico Madrid man is now club hunting at the moment.
Having established himself as one of the best strikers in world football at the moment, Costa will not have a shortage of suitors but he has time and again revealed that he is looking forward to playing at the Vicente Calderon yet again.

Atletico Madrid’s transfer ban
However, the La Liga outfit were hit by an FFP ban that will restrict them to sign new players in the summer transfer window, which has just opened.
This has already cost them the transfer of Alexandre Lacazette, who is now close to a move to Arsenal, but it is now understood that the Spanish side are not ready to miss out on the Chelsea man as well.
Reports from Spanish news outfit AS reveal that Diego Costa is now close to a move to the Vicente Calderon but will not play for the club till the ban is lifted.
Atletico Madrid can register players from the 2nd of January next year but Costa will not be able to stay back in London till then.
So it is now understood that Atletico Madrid are ready to sign him up before the start of the season and only register him in January.

No loan move to China/ Milan for Costa
The report claims that Atletico Madrid were thinking about loaning Costa out till January but it is now also understood that all such plans have been slashed and that Costa will move to Madrid straight away.
The Spanish club wants Costa to train with the first team till the turn of the year to stay on the top of his game and are ready to meet his valuation in the upcoming days.
Do you think Costa will be a hit in his second stint in Spain?
