The young lad at present plays for local side Escola Varsovia – where he has been a part of the academy set-up for five years.
The Polish minnows modelled their youth programme on Spanish big boys Barcelona which certainly makes him an attractive prospect for both Conte and Luis Enrique.
Bulka previously trained with the Blues back in April this year – with the club then being led by Guus Hiddink – but current Italian boss Conte is still keen on the move.
And he even sat down with Bulka yesterday to reportedly put pen to paper on a long-term deal at the club.
According to reports from Poland, the player revealed he got the confirmation of his move from the owner of FCB Escola and the president of the academy. He was undoubtedly ‘happy’ to have secured a move to the Premier League.
Marcin has already packed his bags and travelled to London on Thursday and will sign a multi-million contract shortly. It remains to be seen whether the youngster will be sent on loan or continues his progress at the club’s youth academy.
Chelsea’s goalkeeping coach Hilario has requested Conte to push through the deal so he can get his hands on him during the club’s tour of America.
The Blues will kick off their Premier League season against West Ham on Monday, August 15 at 8pm.
But before that, they can look forward to high-profile showdowns with both Real Madrid and AC Milan in pre-season friendly.
