The Magpies finally look to be in form after a disastrous start of the new campaign and guess what; they are currently on the same points as the defending champions. Newcastle fans seem quite happy after they defeated Aston Villa at the Villa Park in the previous fixture which was a very difficult one.
They did a promising job at the defense to keep the Villa forwards calm and in the attack too as they broke the fragile defense of Villa twice. Hull City on the other hand has secured four points from their first four fixtures, they need to improve if they have to remain in the first division and by this progress they might not be able save relegation.
Their last game was comparatively easy, against Cardiff City at their own, the team that had just been promoted to the first division along with them. To remain in the first division, they must not drop points in their home games against comparatively weaker opponents.
What to expect from this game
Just two seasons ago, Newcastle was fighting for top four, the very next season, they became a relegation seeking team after the departure of their key forward Demba Ba. PappissCisse who helped the Newcastle fans dare to dream of achieving a high finish in his first season could not keep the promises in the last campaign. But their French international winger Hatem Ben Arfa is doing a marvelous job and as soon as YohanCabaye returned to the starting lineups for the Magpies he made a huge difference in their midfield. These men are the key for success Alan Perdew’s side. All the eyes would on these individuals of how they perform. Hull City have already played to two giant sides where might not have win but their performance was satisfying. In the next fixture, their performance will answer a lot of question about their future in the league.
Players to watch out for
Hatem Ben Arfa (Newcastle United) : The £15 million rated French winger has already started to show what he is best at. The 26 year old has already scored twice in the new campaign and has also listed an assists in his sheet, he would be the biggest threat for the Hull City defense to deal with.
Tom Huddlestone (Hull City) : Back to back great performances from the English international is giving a great boost in the Hull City midfield and as long as this man standing in the center of Hull City players, it would not be an easy task to break the balance of the Hull midfield.
Newcastle United : We don’t see any changes in the Newcastle lineup for the next game since they won their last game.
HullCity :We see only one change that could be made by Steve Bruce in the starting lineup as Stephen Quinn might be introduced in place of Robbie Brady.
Predicted score line :Newcastle United 2 – 0 Hull City
Predicted scorers : Remy and Ben Arfa (Newcastle United)
