Both sides are struggling in the beginning of the new campaign as the hosts have managed only one victory and lost the other two in their first three games and the visitors have not recorded any victory yet, they could manage only one point till now. Both teams would be desperate to find three points at the Craven Cottage in the following Saturday.
However, Fulhamsquad looks more promising than West Brom. The on-loan man Darren Bent was not that impressive in his last game against Newcastle but he scored a goal against Arsenal. We all know what he is capable of and he needs to get his ultimate form back to help his team to come out all three points. West Brom squad does not look so weak either, especially after the addition of Scott Sinclair who was arguably the best man on the field for West Brom in the last game but could not produce the ultimate result.
What to Expect from this match
The biggest expectation from this match is goals. Both teams have almost the same ambition with finishing mid table, so we hope this match could be a ‘goals galore’. However, none of the teams could come out with much goals in their first fixtures as Fulham scored only two and on the other hand West Brom have not been able to score any goal yet. But expectations are high from the fans of either sides in this game, we expect to see to a good fight at Craven Cottage in the following Saturday.
Players to watch out for
Scott Parker (Fulham) : The England international is doing a very promising job for his new side. He did a great job in the last game as well; he won positions, made descent attacks and kept the balance of Fulham midfield, the 32 year old could become the key of success for Martin Jol in the next fixture.
Scott Sinclair (West Bromwich Albion) : The on-loan winger from Manchester City was pretty good in his last game against his former side Swansea City. He did a decent job even after he was not fully match fit.The 24 year old could become the hero of the imbalanced West Brom squad.
Fulham : We see only one possible change as Aaron Hudges who picked up a minor groin injury might lose his position in the first eleven if he could recover. The Swiss international Philippe Senderos might take his position if Hudges could not make it.
West Bromwich Albion : We see two possible changes as James Morrison is out with a serious pelvis injury could be replaced with Graham Dorrans, The Uruguayan international Diego Lugano might replace Gareth McAuley.
We predict a victory for the home side in this game. West Brom, though, might get their first goal of the new campaign from this game but no victory.
Predicted score line :Fulham 2 – 1 West Bromwich Albion
Predicted scorers : Bent and Barbatov (Fulham), Anelka (West Brom)
