Everton has agreed a deal so sign Spanish winger Gerard Deulofeu form FC Barcelona for €6 million.

Deulofeu has agreed a contract for three years, with an option for a further season. He will join the Toffees on July 1st.

Deulofeu had a successful loan season at Everton in 2013-14 but spent much of the last campaign on the sidelines during a spell at Sevilla. The winger made 29 appearances during his first spell at Everton and manager Roberto Martinez told the club’s official website: “Gerard needs no introduction to anyone here at Everton. We are all well aware of his incredie footballing talent.”

“We got to know him really well from his loan period, not only as such a talented player but also his great character. He will be a fantastic asset to our club.”

“This is why we are incredibly excited to have him back here on a permanent basis and to encourage him to grow, develop and mature his enormous talent.”

Everton has already signed Tom Cleverley on a free transfer from Manchester United and with the signing of Deulofeu the fans will surely become optimisti

for the season.

Barcelona has also confirmed the transfer and revealed that they have included a buy-back clause for 21 years old La Masia graduate.

A statement on the European champions’ official website read: “FC Barcelona and Everton FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of midfielder

Gerard Deulofeu.

“The contract includes a release clause if Barcelona make an offer to Everton meeting certain requirements. FC Barcelona also have a right of first refusal ifEverton decide to sell the player.

“FC Barcelona’s management commission approved the transfer after receiving a positive report from the club’s technical committee.”

Everton said the buy-back clause only applied during the first two years.

The Everton fans are very happy to see Deulofeu back who impressed for them in his first spell. Barcelona fans are unhappy with the board as they rate the youngster higly, but are happy to know that the club has included a buy-back clause for the talented winger.
