Manchester United will still be without Michael Carrick for this game who left the field injured in the win against Manchester City.

Van Gaal has stuck with his 4-1-4-1 formation and given Daley Blind the role of playing as the Defensive midfielder while Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera play further up front with Juan Mata and Ashley Young providing with and attacking support to the lone striker Wayne Rooney.

In defense, United go in Chris Smalling and Patrick McNair, Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia with the ever-present David De Gea in goal.
