Has Arsene Wenger Found A Way To Get Alexis Sanchez And Mesut Ozil To Sign New Deals?

Arsene Wenger was not able to continue his legacy at the Emirates as he saw his Arsenal side drop out of the Champions League for the first time under his coaching in more than 20-years.

The Gunners are now competing in the Europa League next season and will want to go all the way, not just in Europe but also in the League but Wenger has some serious work to do on his squad if he wants to achieve his goals for the next season.

Arsenal have already been linked to some of the finest players in Europe but Wenger has a bigger task in hand to keep his star players at the club past the summer transfer window.

Two such players, whose future at the club is undecided are Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean international, currently busy in the Confederations Cup, is one of the most productive players in the country in the last couple of seasons and has been in tremendous form for club and country for over two years now.

The German playmaker has not been able to find consistency but is still one of the best players in his position in England but reports suggest that both players are currently unsettled at the club.

According to reports, Sanchez and Ozil, who have less than a year left on their current contract, have rejected new deals with the club worth north of £250,000 a week, which makes them one of the highest earners in England.

It is understood that both players are holding out for wages close to £300,000 a week to make them the highest paid but it does not look like Arsenal will cave in to their demands.

However, it is almost impossible to replace such quality in the first team and Wenger seems ready to raise their wages, but with one condition.

The Daily Mail now reports that Arsenal are ready to offer Sanchez and Ozil their required wages but that will come in form of bonuses over the course of the next year.

According to the report, Arsenal are ready to offer a 20% pay rise, provided the former La Liga duo stay back at the club and help them to a place in the Champions League next season.

Do you think this will be enough to get them to sign new deals?
