Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp expressed his support for under fire Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho after Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge. Ramires scored early for the home side from a sublime cross from Cesar Azpilicueta before Brazilain star Philippe Coutinho scored two absolutely stunning goals and Christain Benteke added a third after coming on from the bench to seal the win for the Reds.

Klopp: “Of course I feel for him. He’s a great coach, one of the best managers in the world.

“But things like this happen. I had a similar situation in Dortmund and the good thing was no one in the club was in doubt about my position. Nobody.

“I never felt pressure. So we were able to change the situation.”

Another defeat for Jose Mourinho’s side has left them with just 11 points from 11 games and a sixth defeat of the season in the Premier League. The German said Chelsea have enough quality to bounce back from this rough patch, and he feels for Jose Mourinho.

He said: “With the quality of the players at Chelsea, of course they’ll change it. Of course I feel for him, but it’s normal work. They have to change it, and they will change it.”

Klopp also lauded his team’s brilliant effort at the Stamford Bridge as they came away with three points which might prove to be a vital win for the Reds over top 4 rivals Chelsea.

He added: “This win was huge for all of us. We won at Chelsea, a difficult game in this situation.

“But we deserved it. We solved problems and we can do better, that’s for sure.”
