Ibrahimovic Drops Major Hint On His Manchester United Future

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic set to return to first-team duty at Manchester United after a three-game suspension following this weekend’s Premier League fixtures, the Old Trafford faithful will be hoping the Swede’s stay at the club will soon be extended into next season.

The 35 year old is open to the idea of staying on at the club after winning the EFL Cup this season with the opportunity to add the Europa League title to his list of honours, with Manchester United set to play Anderlecht in the quarter-finals next month, with the final taking place in his native Stockholm in May.

The former Paris St Germain star hinted at the unfinished business he has at Manchester United as his contract enters the final three months and expressed his desire to give his all to the cause, which is sure to excite not only his manager but his Manchester United supporters.

“I’m a person when I go into something I put my head 200 per cent and I do what I’m good at.”

“I go in, I go for the kill and I go out.”

“And when I go out there is no complaints, that’s what I do. I never leave a job unfinished.”

“I always go in, do my job and in the way that is fair play, a fair deal, that is what I do.”

Ibrahimovic signed a one-year contract last summer after deciding to reject the advances of the MLS and the Chinese Super League and join up once again with Jose Mourinho following their time together at Inter Milan.

His  26 goals so far this season have helped keep the club in contention to finish in the top four and claim a crucial Champions League place for next season.  This could be the deciding factor for the striker, who despite his illustrious career, has yet to lift Europe’s ultimate prize.

“I’m enjoying being at a fantastic club, without doubts one of the biggest clubs in the world with a great coach.

“I knew him before, he’s a winner, he’s the perfect coach for this club.

“Being a Manchester United player, I don’t know how many people have that possibility but I am a Man United player.

“People wanted me here, I chose the club, I chose the best English club, that’s the way it works.”
