Jose Mourinho is determined to keep his star players at the club this summer as he looks to take Manchester United back to their best for the challenges lying ahead next season.
The Red Devils managed to move into the Champions League with a victory in the Europa League final, having only managed a sixth place finish in the points table.
But that qualification to the UCL has now given them a chance to price some of the best players in Europe to Old Trafford this summer.
However, Mourinho is also desperate to keep star players at the club and one player constantly linked with an exit is Spanish shot-stopper David de Gea.
A long-term transfer target for Spanish giants Real Madrid, De Gea was pursued by the club a couple of years ago but a technical frailty saw Real miss out on his services.

However, Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane are now desperate for a shot stopper and are ready to do what it takes to land De Gea this summer.
Reports also suggested that De Gea is ready to move back to his hometown however, Mourinho seems adamant and does not want to lose him on the cheap.
And Daily Star now claims that Mourinho might demand up to £100m for the Spanish star this summer.
However, the story also claims that the manager is ready to lower the asking price if he is offered another player as a part of the deal for De Gea.
According to the Star, Jose Mourinho is ready to let De Gea leave for just £45m but wants Real Madrid to sell Alvaro Morata as a part of the deal for the goal keeper this summer.

Morata is one of the most exciting and versatile attackers in world football at the moment but he has not been able to establish himself in the first team under Zinedine Zidane last season and is looking for a club who can offer him regular game time next season.
Manchester United were reportedly closing in on his signature but reports reveal that Mourinho is ready to use De Gea to lure Morata to Old Trafford.
Do you think United should sell De Gea for £45m if they can sign Morata?
