Kroos set to leave Real Madrid to join one of the EPL giants

With only one season under his belt at the Spanish capital, a certain German midfielder is rumoured to be all set to leave the Los Blancos!

Toni Kroos came to Real Madrid in the summer of 2014 for a fee ranging between 25 to 30 million Euros and was hoped to bring his own brand of passes and cutting edge strikes to the foray making Madrid all the more stronger. However, Kroos failed to raise to the occasion for the Whites with him seeming to have run out of creativity which was an inherent part of his game back at home. This season, the 26 year old German international has provided 6 assists in the 17 games he has played in the league. Though,Kroos has had an average season, it’s been potentially devoid of any imagination and innovation. This ‘draining out of fun from football’ situation, has again raised keen interest for Kroos and EPL giants like Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea lining up to bring the midfielder to the most entertaining league in the world; with the Blues ready to break their backs to land the premier player.

Chelsea has had a pathetic season which they are trying to salvage with some help from interim coach Guus Hiddink. With the stabilization process in place, the Blues are looking for some originality and creativity to save that flailing mid field and who better than the German! In that light, certain reports have been doing their rounds which suggest that Abramovic is ready to cash out a whopping 40 million pounds for the Champions League winner. If the move comes to be then Chelsea might cut short their association with a certain Catalan midfielder whose exploits last season got them the title but this season the volcano of talent seems to have gone dormant!

However, the move seems highly unlikely given Kroos’s position in his current team and with the change in the management, the brand of football that is being played gives more leeway to the German to be free and creative. Also its been only one season at the capital, and Kroos’s performances have been above par. With a more innovative manager on the sidelines Kroos is surely set to wow everyone with one of his blinders.
