Liverpool have filed a complain to the Merseyside police about Mohammad Salah for using mobile while driving.
Salah was seen using his mobile while driving.
While driving to the Merseyside police, he was caught seen using the mobile and driving. A video posted on Twitter and it clearly shows Salah was sitting in traffic and surrounded by a number of people. However, it is unclear where or when the video was taken.
The people who were surrounding the Liverpool forward was chanting his name “Mo” continuously and wanted to seek his attention. But Salah was busy using his phone and driving the car.
Liverpool also confirmed that they had been made aware of the footage and a spokesman for the club said that they had passed it on to the authorities.
“The club, after discussion with the player, have made Merseyside Police aware of the footage and the circumstances surrounding its capture. We have spoken to the player also and will deal with any follow-up internally. Neither the club or player will be making any further comment on this matter.”
The club will not make further comment on the matter as they would deal with the issue ‘internally.’
After seeing the video, Merseyside police tweeted:
“We have been made aware of a video believed to show a footballer using a mobile phone whilst driving. This has been passed to the relevant department. Thanks for letting us know.”
