According to Sky sources, Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is expected to leave the club this summer and Liverpool are monitoring the situation to make a move for the England’s goalkeeper.

The 29-year old was dropped to bench under new manager Pep Guardiola due to his less effectiveness in short passing. This attribute has made the manager to look for other options available in the market with Claudio Bravo tipped to move from Barcelona.

Liverpool on the other side have lost their No.1 Loris Karius after the player broke his wrist ruling him out for the about 8-10 weeks. The Reds are looking for a new goalkeeper as Klopp is not reliant on No.2 Simon Mignolet.

Klopp is keen to sign Joe Hart to provide competition to Simon Mignolet as England No.1 could add much needed quality at goal for the Reds.

Hart has joined Manchester City in 2006 from Shrewsbury and has developed before becoming No.1 goalkeeper in England. The likes of Everton, Sevilla are also interested in a loan move with only two weeks left in the transfer window.
