Liverpool to grab Manchester City striker for 25 million Pounds
As per the latest reports, Liverpool have set their sights on Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko. Liverpool are considering to add some quality up front to their attack next season.
The departure of Luis Suarez to Barcelona has created a great void in Liverpool’s striking force; Brendan Rodgers have brought the likes of Lambert and Balotelli as a replacement last season but both have failed miserably.
Liverpool are looking to offload the likes of Balotelli, Lambert and Borini this summer to make room for transfer budget as they look to have summer spree with lot of new additions expected.
Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko would be a viable option for Brendan Rodges as he provides as lot of aerial threat to their attack and he is a proven striker in Premier League. Edin Dzeko is probably second in the pecking order at Manchester City as he is often used only when Aguero gets injured or needs to be rested for a bigger game.
A move to Anfield would mean he would likely get more starts than at Etihad and will enjoy his football. The Bosnian international still has four years left in his contract which means Liverpool needs to make a really bigger bid to lure the striker away. Manchester City would likely agree to a bid around the region of £25million if the Bosnian decides to leave them this summer.
