According to our sources, Manchester City are ready to offer James Milner a whopping £34million contract  which will see him earn £165,000-a-week. The new contract means he will earn only less than Aguero, Silva and Yaya Toure. The 29-year old contract with Manchester City will end at the end of current season.

The player have drawn interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and few Italian clubs as he is available for free. But the Manchester City player is set to snub the new deal as he is considering his future at Anfield.

However. Liverpool will offer him a contract which will be worth £100,000-a-week making him one of the top earners at the club. Liverpool are looking to fill the void that will be left by Steven Gerrard as he leaves for La Galaxy next season and Milner will be a suitable option.

Milner can play as a wing-back, winger and have also played as a striker when City faced injury crisis in January. Manuel Pellegrini wants the player to stay as his work rate is amazing.

The player don’t want to play the remaining of his peak years out of his position as he is doing at Manchester City despite being happy with the contract offered by them and is interested in moving to North London.
