Manchester United are now close to finishing their first transfer of the summer this Wednesday according to reports.
The Red Devils have managed to qualify for the Champions League on the final day of the season and will now look to improve on their performances this season by adding some quality to their lineup for the upcoming campaign.
The manager is looking at some of the best players all over Europe to improve on more than one position in the squad and he has been looking at a number of centre-backs to make a move for this summer.
He has been linked to Swedish defender Victor Lindelof for some time now and it is now reported that the youngster is close to a move to England this week.

According to reports from The Sun, Lindelof is now close to becoming a Manchester United player officially and the deal will be announced on Wednesday, in three days’ time.
The 22-year old currently out on international duty with the Swedish national side but the report suggests that he will fly to Old Trafford immediately for a medical.
The youngster is easily one of the best centre-backs in Europe at the moment and was linked with a move to Manchester United in January but a move never materialised.
However, it is now understood that Lindelof is effectively a United player for the next season.
A source told The Sun: “It’s a done deal. There are some very minor things to wrap up and of course the medical.”

“He hasn’t wanted to allow the move to distract him from Sweden duty but he will be flying straight to Manchester after the game in Oslo on Tuesday and then undergoing his medical.”
This will come as a huge boost for the Red Devils who have not yet been able to lure the best players and top transfer targets to their club after the end of the previous season.
With Lindelof and Eric Bailly as the first choice next season, United have relatively inexperienced centre backs partnership in the country and this might come back to haunt them.
But both players are still young and learning the game and are sure to be among the best in years to come.
