Manchester United need to meet crazy asking price for Portugal starlet

Manchester United are one of the richest clubs in Europe and are not a franchise that back down in the chase for a player due to his asking price.
However, recent developments in Portugal will see Manchester United splash the cash if they want to lay their hands on Portugal sensation Renato Sanches.
The 18-year old is widely tipped off as the next best thing to happen in the country after Cristiano Ronaldo and it does not come as a surprise that his current club Benfica want to keep hold of the youngster for a little longer.
The youngster picked his first national cap for the senior team in Portugal’s 1-0 defeat to Bulgaria and impressed in the outing.
He has also scored twice this season for the Portuguese franchise in addition to his splendid work in front of the back four.
In addition to a box to box mid-fielder, Sanches is an intelligent player on the ball and has plenty of experience even for his tender age.
Manchester United have regularly kept a tab on the 18-year old’s progress and have sent a number of scouts to watch him in action.
They are desperate to get their man this summer but with the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich also monitoring the player, United will not be getting their hands on Sanches easily.
And according to the Daily Telegraph, Benfica want to make it even harder for the Old Trafford outfit.
The Portuguese franchise are expected to hold out for a staggering £47m for the 18-year old who has been an integral part of the club’s progress this season.
Benfica are expected to slap a straight £30m price on the player, with a further £17m payment with a number of clauses inserted in his contract if United are ready to meet the asking price.
Manchester United have in recent times not been able to win silverware but they have managed to accumulate a very splendid squad with a number of youngsters who will only take the club in a forward direction.
With the likes of Anthony Martial and Luke Skaw, United already have a couple of youngsters who have loads of potential and the Red Devils are now looking to add Renato Sanches to the list this summer.
