Despite a 2-1 victory over Swansea, Manchester United have struggled for goals in recent times, the rumour mill suggest that Louis Van Gaal is surely going to ‘buy’ goals this transfer window. Apparently United are trying to trigger $140million release clause of Barcelona superstar Neymar Jr.

Some Spanish and French sources claim United are planning to bring Neymar at Old Trafford by triggering a record release clause of around 150 million.

Le Sport10 has written, “Manchester United are willing to pay Barcelona star Neymar‘s £140million release clause.”

Recently Neymar’s father has revealed that Manchester United are interested in his son and their offer had been turned down by Barcelona.

‘The proposal came to Barcelona and the club told us they would not sell him,’ Neymar da Silva Santos told Globo.

‘They asked if were were interested, but it was not the case.

‘Barcelona does not sell because it has a three-year contract [with Neymar] ahead.

‘It was a project of Manchester United. Only to not have this proposal anymore, it fell behind.’ – he added.

Clearly Manchester United are interested in Meymar.

Today, Brazilian legend Kaka has spoken highly of Neymar. Kaka said- “It’s difficult to point out a single reason for this, but it must serve to alert Brazilian football. And, truth be told, it’s no easy task to forge a Ballon d’Or winner.”

“Thankfully, Neymar has improved a lot since he’s gone to play in Europe – his game is a lot more mature. Now it’s a matter of time until he reaches first place.”

“It had always been a rotation: Ronaldo and Zidane won it three times, but there was always some other player – names like Figo, Ronaldinho, myself, Rivaldo, Cannavaro… Then comes this succession of Cristiano and Messi, only the two of them – and it is fair, for what they have been doing year after year,” added Kaka.

ManUnited are set to trigger Barcelona forward Neymar‘s £140m release clause after his contract talks stalled, says Le Sport10.

But, will it happen? looks like at first he is  Linked to United , then will be linked to City/Chelsea , then some unknown publication will suggest he’s signed in ENGLAND and finally he will sign contract extension with Barca.
