Arsene Wenger is one of the busiest managers in England this summer transfer window as his Arsenal side needs some serious additions their squad if they are to compete at the highest level next season.

The manager is looking to bring in some of the brightest stars in world football to the club this summer but is yet to make his first signing after the end of the previous season.

The Frenchman is yet again desperate for a star striker who can lead the attacking line for the side and one player who he is constantly linked with, for a move this summer is Manchester United star, Anthony Martial.

The French international joined Old Trafford back in 2015 in a £36m deal, a fee could rise to as high as £58m should Martial succeed at the club.

He started his career in England in fine fashion, scoring a winner against arch rivals Liverpool but ever since, he has not been able to establish himself in the first team under Louis van Gaal or Jose Mourinho.

He made 45 appearances all season, but most of them came off the bench, as he managed just six goals to his name.

However, he has some immense potential and Arsene Wenger has always been a fan of the player and has publicly also spoken about his admiration of the player in the past.

And reports claimed that Arsenal are ready to make a £40m bid for Martial this summer.

The Red Devils are a bit short in attack and Jose Mourinho is desperate to add some quality to his attacking line.

The likes of Alvaro Morata are constantly linked with a move to Old Trafford and this might push Martial further down the pecking order, which could unsettle him, giving rise to such rumours.

However, the 21-year old, who helped United to the Europa League and the League Cup last season, has now poured water on all such rumours.

He posted this on Twitter:

It reads: ‘The rumours are false.’

Surely, Martial has found a subtle way to disregard all rumours but do you think he will get a chance in the first team under Jose Mourinho at United next season?
