Manchester United’s New Scout Javier Ribalta To Play Huge Role In Morata Transfer

Manchester United’s newly hired scout Javier Ribalta could play a massive role in helping the club sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, according to reports.

Ribalta was one of the key figures during his time at Turin. He helped Juventus seal some key deals in recent years. He had worked with Juve for five years and was credited for managing to bring in the likes of Paul Pogba, Paulo Dybala, Alex Sandro and Dani Alves in the recent seasons.
The 36-year old had previously worked with Manchester United’s rivals Liverpool during the reign of Rafa Benitez before moving to Juventus. He had also helped the Italian giants swoop Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata and could play a massive role in helping Red Devils land their key target this summer. Javier is currently working with chief scouts Jim Lawlor and Marcel Bout at Old Trafford.
The 24-year old had a difficult season under Zidane as he played as an understudy to French striker Karim Benzema. He is willing to move away from Bernabeu this summer in search of more playing time and Manchester United are currently the front-runners to sign him.
Amid the speculations over his future, Morata’s wife Alice Campello started following Manchester United on Instagram which fueled the rumours Furthermore as a move towards Old Trafford looks near.
Manchester United were very close to signing him with the club’s massive €75 million (£65.6m) bid rejected as the Los Blancos are considering a bid above £80 million. It remains to be seen how long before the deal would be completed as Manchester United are desperate to sign a striker for next season.
