AC Milan Stun Summer Transfer Market To Sign Bonucci From Juventus

The summer transfer window this summer has been one of the most exciting ones in recent times.

Some of the best players in Europe in the form of Bernardo Silva, James Rodriguez, Romelu Lukaku and Douglas Costa have all skipped teams this summer but it is just the start of what could be an insane transfer window come deadline day.

There are a number of deals happening as I type, that are sure to improve some of the biggest clubs in world football and one club that is making some serious purchases this summer is Italian outfit AC Milan.

Having acquired an owner ready to spend like crazy on the club, AC Milan have completed some world class signings already and are looking to make some more top class additions to the squad.

And one player they have now successfully signed is Leonardo Bonucci.

Max Allegri falls out with player

The Italian international is one of the best defenders in Europe at the moment if not the best and h has helped Juventus to five league title in his six years at the club.

He is the backbone of the Italian outfit but he had a falling out with the coach Massimiliano Allegri which weakened his relationship with the club.

The pair traded insults during a game against Palermo last season, with the defender subsequently being dropped against Porto. It did not go down well with the player who decided to quit the club and he has agreed on a deal with the Italian giants AC Milan for a move this summer.

In Milan for Medical

Bonucci is not wasting too much time either in getting this deal done as reports suggest that he is already in Milan for his medical ahead of a move to the San Siro outfit.

He is expected to cost €40m and will sign a five-year contract worth 7.5m euros per season.

He will join other AC Milan purchases in André Silva (from Porto, £33.5m), Ricardo Rodriguez (from Wolfsburg, £13.2m), Hakan Calhanoglu (from Bayer Leverkusen, £22m), Andrea Conti (from Atalanta, £21.1m) and Mateo Musacchio (Villarreal, £15m) among others.

At 30, he Bonucci is one of the most experienced center backs in the game at the moment and Juventus will surely find it hard to search for a replacement for the next season.

At just €40m, he is an absolute steal and could turn into one of the best transfers of this window.
