Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale is linked with a move away from the club in recent times but he will not be leaving the European champions any time soon, according to the reports.
The Welshman is an important player for Real Madrid and Marca suggests that he remains untouchable at the club and Zidane is keen to keep hold of him.
Gareth Bale is solely focused on the upcoming season as he looks to get back to his best. He is arguably one of the best players at the club since his move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2013. He was restricted to just 27 appearances last season mainly due to his calf and ankle injuries over the course of the season.
Despite the injuries, the 27-year old did look in fine touch whenever he made onto the pitch and had scored 9 goals and assisted 5 more in the limited games he played for the club.
His importance to the squad has been more than ever because of the uncertainty surrounding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo who has been their talisman over the past eight seasons.
Bale has a contract with Real Madrid till 2022 and shows no signs of leaving the club. He has signed a contract extension just nine months ago and could play a massive role in the coming years for the club. He is also considered as the next possible big star at Real Madrid after Ronaldo but has not earned the love of fans yet which paved way for more speculations on his future at the club.
He is one of the best attacking players in the world and has garnered attention from all the big clubs despite his reluctance to leave the club. The Welsh skipper was linked with several giant clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and few other Premier clubs in the recent weeks.
Zidane considers Bale as an essential player for his side and is keen to play him more next season, if he stays injury free. Bale will at least stay with Real Madrid for one more season before considering anything on his future.
