Real Madrid managed to finally lift the league title in Spain after four long years but it was all worth the wait as they pipped their arch rivals Barcelona to the title on the last day.
The Spanish side also managed to lift the Champions League title, which was their 12th in the history of the club, second in two years. This meant that Real Madrid became the first team to retain the UEFA Champions League title, and the first team to retain the European title after 58 years.
Zinedine Zidane has worked wonders in less than two full seasons with the club but he is now determined to add some quality additions to the squad to make sure that they are able to compete at the highest level yet again next season.
This has seen them linked with some of the finest stars in world football at the moment, and one such player who has now completed his move to the club is a full-back, Theo Hernandez.

The 19-year old French full-back had a sublime season at the back for Spanish side Alaves, where he played on loan from La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.
He was genuinely impressive in his time in the top flight last season and Real Madrid decided that he was the right man to act as a backup for Marcelo and to take up his baton after his retiree.
However, the La Liga champions were not the only team that wanted Theo this summer.
The likes of Barcelona, Juventus and Liverpool were interested in his signature while his parent club wanted him to sign a new deal.
Incredibly, he found no problem in cutting through the barrier at the Spanish capital, which cannot always be smooth.
Reports suggest that he was pressured into signing a new deal with Atletico Madrid but the deal is now completed without any hiccups.

Speaking to the media as a Real Madrid player, the 19-year old said that he had no problems in making the switch once he decided to quit the Vicente Calderon.
“There was no pressure from anybody and it wasn’t a tough decision to say ‘Yes’ to Real Madrid,” Theo said.
“I’m here because I want to be and because this is the best club in the world,” he added.
It is not always smooth when players shift clubs within the city and it will be interesting to see how the Atletico Madrid fans receive Theo when he travels to the Calderon with his current club.
