Antonio Conte helped Chelsea to their sixth Premier League title but that has not made his work at the club any easier.
He will now have to work even harder to repeat the achievements of this season in the next or better it and the players at the club are not making it any easy.
Not long after Eden Hazard revealed that he will find an offer from Spanish giants Real Madrid hard to refuse, club’s top goal scorer Diego Costa has now come out and revealed that he is now not a wanted man at Chelsea.
The former Atletico Madrid hitman has helped Chelsea to two league titles in three years and is one of the best strikers in Europe at the moment.
He has been in terrific for at the Bridge recently but Costa in a recent interview revealed that Antonio Conte has sent him a text saying that he is not wanted at the club anymore.
I’m going to be honest, the other day Conte sent me a message saying he does not count on me for next season,” Costa told reporters, “so I’ll have to find a way out.”
Reports in January suggested that Conte and Costa had a fallout that led to him being dropped out of the next game and Costa addressed the issue by saying “I’m a Chelsea player, but they do not want me there.”
“My relationship with the coach has been bad this season. It’s a shame, I’ve already forwarded the message to Chelsea people to decide,” he added.
It is assumed though the differences were buried, Conte is not completely happy and wants him to quit the club.
However, Spanish news outfit Marca claims that it is an entirely new issue that is pushing Costa out of Chelsea.
According to a story by the publication, Costa met with Diego Simeone, the current Atletico Madrid coach and it is understood that the duo have agreed on terms to work together in the future.
They also posted a picture together on Instagram:
It is reported that this has angered Conte who now wants Costa to leave.
With Atletico Madrid in the middle of a transfer ban, Costa is now favourites to move to Italian giants AC Milan this summer.
