Sergio Ramos Trolls Gerard Pique Ahead Of Champions League Final

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos took a sly dig at his Barcelona counterpart Gerard Pique ahead of the Champions League final on Saturday.
Speaking on Media Day ahead of the final, the Spaniard revealed that he sent an invitation to Pique to watch the final but laughed insisting that the Catalan did not answer to his invitation.
‘I sent an invitation to Piqué, but he didn’t answer,’ said Ramos while laughing.
It is a known fact that Ramos and Pique do not like each other and the two best defenders of Spain have taken their rant to a whole new level this season. The tensions hit a new high as the players publicly criticized each other over the past few months.
Both the players are leaders in their back line for Real Madrid and Barcelona but just like the rivalry between the two clubs in the Spanish history, Ramos and Pique have started to hate each other as they went toe to toe this season.

Gerard Pique sent a cryptic message to the fans after Real Madrid’s controversial win over German giants Bayern Munich in April as a series of wrong referee decisions have played a huge part in the progression of Los Blancos.
The duo then clashed on field when Ramos was sent off for reckless challenge on Lionel Messi in El Clasico in April when Barcelona won the game 3-2 at Santiago Bernabeu.
However, Real Madrid managed to beat Barcelona to win their first La Liga title in five years this season and Barcelona’s season is already over after their Copa del Reyt triumph last week.
Los Blancos will now take on Italian giants in the Champions League final and the 31-year old aims another dig at Pique as Barcelona failed to qualify to the finals of Europe’s elite competition this season.
A win would see Real Madrid get their hands on a second trophy this season which is a huge achievement for the richest club in the world. But the victory will also make Real Madrid to become the first club to successfully retain Champions League since AC Milan in 1989 and 1990.
