Doha, Dec 4 (IANS) The changes in Spain’s national football squad is aimed at making further progress ahead of the European Championship 2016, head coach Vicente del Bosque has said. He said Spain had a “fairly balanced team in terms of young and experienced players”. “We are in a process of a slight change and I hope we reach top form before the beginning of the Euro 2016 next summer in France,” Del Bosque told Efe on Thursday.

The Spanish coach is here to attend a ceremony to honour former Spanish international and current player of Qatari side Al Sadd Xavi Hernandez after he was named as Marca Legend by Spanish sports newspaper Marca.
