A battle of words between Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is not new and the football world cherishes one of the biggest rivalry in world football.

Chelsea are going through a rough patch both on and off the field. After managing to draw their first game of the season last week against Swansea City, the entire week saw the Blues making the headlines off-field as manager Jose Mourinho was accused of abusing his team doctor Eva Carneiro and team physio during the match day. Mourinho was angry at Ms. Carneiro for treating Hazard during the dying moments of the Swansea game. Hazard’s treatment out of the field reduced Chelsea to 9 men. Mourinho apparently was so angry that he abused the doctor publicly. The club has also suspended the doctor and the physio from sitting on the bench on Sunday, 16th August against Manchester City.

But all these controversies have failed to change Jose Mourinho, who has yet again revived his rivalry with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. Jose Mourinho addressed the media on Saturday ahead of Chelsea’s clash against title rivals Manchester City.

Jose Mourinho was asked if the Manchester City owners were correct on their stance of keeping Manuel Pellegrini in his position for one more season even after a failed campiagn last time, to which the Blues manager replied: “Why? Some other clubs, they have disappointed for 15 years and the manager is the same.”

Twitter has reacted to the jibe by Mourinho at Wenger once again.
