Twitter reacts to Liverpool Vs Middlesbrough Epic Penalty Shoot-Out
Liverpool beat Middlesbrough 14-13 in a marathon penalty shoot-out at Anfield in the Capital One Cup last night.
17-year-old Jordan Rossiter made his debut for Liverpool and it took him just ten minutes to give his boyhood club the lead ove Middlesbrough. Adam Reach scored around the hour mark to make it 1-1 for Middlesbrough. Suso made his first appearance for Liverpool this season and also managed to score his first goal for Liverpool in the second half of the extra-time, but a late Patrick Bamford’s penalty sent the game for a shoot-out.
