Former Manchester City striker undergoes appendicitis surgery
Valencia (Spain), Nov 17 (IANS) Spanish football club Valencia has announced that striker Alvaro Negredo has undergone emergency surgery for appendicitis.
“Álvaro Negredo underwent surgery on Monday afternoon after being diagnosed with an acute appendicitis,” Valencia said in a statement. The former Manchester City and Sevilla player has struggled this La Liga season and last month the 30-year-old criticised head coach Nuno Espírito Santo.
