West Brom Reject Chinese Bid For Striker Rondon

London, Feb 4 (IANS) West Bromwich Albion coach Tony Pulis has revealed that he rejected an offer from a Chinese football club to purchase Venezuelan striker Salomon Rondon during the January transfer market.

Rondon, 27, who arrived in West Brom in August 2015, scored seven goals in 25 games this season, but has not scored in the last eight matches in all competitions, reports Efe.

“There was an offer for Rondon from China,” Pulis on Friday said at a press conference on the eve of Saturday’s match against Stoke City.

Pulis said he has no intention of letting Rondon go, especially after selling striker Saido Berahino to Stoke City.
