Kamlesh Nagarkoti

Kamlesh Nagarkoti is an Indian cricketer. He made his List A debut for Rajasthan in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 26 February 2017. A couple of days later, he took the first-ever hat-trick for Rajasthan in List A cricket, in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Gujarat. He was a part of the Under-19 Test that toured England in 2017 for two youth Tests and five One-Day games. Nagarkoti is a right-arm pace bowler.

In December 2017, he was named in India’s squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

He was one of the most sought after performers in the tournament, playing a big part in India’s title-triumph.

At the IPL auction in February 2018, he was bought for INR 3. (USD 500,000 approx.) crore by Kolkata Knight Riders.

Playing career:

Nagarkoti rose up the ranks playing age-group cricket in Rajasthan and made his List A debut for Rajasthan on 26 February 2017 in Vijay Hazare Trophy against Mumbai. In his very second game, he picked up a hat-trick against Gujarat, thus becoming the first Rajasthan bowler to achieve the feat in List A cricket.

He also starred for India Under-19 during the tour of England, picking up 14 wickets in two Youth Tests including a match-haul of 10 for 112 in the first game.
