Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 27 (IANS) One of the finest athletes India has produced, Anju Bobby George was on Friday selected as the president of the Kerala State Sports Council.
State Sports Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan said the selection was based on merit. “She is an internationally renowned and reputed athlete and we felt that she would be the perfect choice to head our sports body,” said Radhakrishnan.
