For those who are not familiar with the enriched tradition of King of the Ring, the tourney has started way back in 1985. The first man to officially name himself “King” was the legendary Hall of Famer, the late Harley Race, dubbing himself King Harley Race. Several other superstars used the same moniker, going forward like Booker T aka King Booker which he played an egotistical character.
